Agenda Item 5: Subscription Rates:
In accordance with Rule 10, the General Committee propose that the 2023-24 Club Membership Fees to be as follows:
A 5% increase to Membership and Berthing Fees for 2023. The reason behind this proposal is the rise in financial costs for the club and the need to secure the future of the club financially. Based upon the fees for an adult couple plus a catamaran, a 5% increase would add approximately £20 to the total fees as they stand, this only adds £2 a month for Direct Debit payments. The financial increase for the club however would be approximately £1,200 (based upon fees of £25,000).
We also propose increasing the joining fee to £30, and Dutyman fees to £30. |
