Cadet Week 2022

A massive thank you to all who helped this year, it is much appreciated by the Club and the cadets.

It went fantastically again this year. All the youngsters that participated loved it. I think it definitely worked only having it over the 3 days and we are looking at something similar next year, having it for 3 or 4 days, with the last day being on a Saturday. We are hoping that this may enable more people to volunteer to help as it is a pretty exhausting event for all involved. This year's cadet week was fabulous. During the week the cadets experienced a range of sailing conditions some of which were challenging but everyone managed to have a great time and learnt lots. It was great as an older cadet to be able to help the younger ones develop their skills and work together as part of the team to ensure a fun few days. We look forward to using these skills as we grow as sailors. - Toby Hanks
