A Message About Our Former Member, Commodore and Friend, John Parsons

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of John Parsons. John was a much loved man and member of our club for many years; he devoted an enormous amount of time to the club in many aspects. John was very active during his time spent at the club, this included being Commodore, safety boat duties and he was also a very popular quiz master amongst many other things. He will be hugely missed by all who knew him and have lots of wonderful memories of him and time spent together. Our condolences go to his boys, Ant and Steve at this very sad time.

We now have details of his funeral to pass on to those who would like to go:

The funeral will be held on Friday 21st February, 3.30pm at Chi Crematorium.

The wake will follow at the RAFA Club, Waterloo Square, Bognor Regis.

The family have asked for donations rather than flowers (details to follow) and the boys have asked for people to come in casual wear (bright colours if you like) as it is a celebration of his life.
